Empowering lives by keeping them moving
Driving Opportunity Forward:
The Chris Gives Foundation is committed to empowering individuals and families by enhancing opportunities in the automotive industry and ensuring reliable transportation for those in need. Our mission is twofold:
Investing in the Future Through Scholarships
We provide scholarships to high school students pursuing careers in auto repair, helping them develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the automotive industry. By supporting these aspiring technicians, CGF aims to strengthen the workforce and inspire the next generation of automotive professionals.
Keeping Families Moving
We assist families facing financial hardships by covering the cost of critical auto repairs. Reliable transportation is essential for maintaining employment, accessing education, and ensuring family stability. CGF steps in to provide assistance when unexpected vehicle repairs threaten to disrupt a family's livelihood.
Our dual commitment to community
Fixing cars, fueling futures:
High school student scholarships for auto repair curriculum
There has been a decline in the emphasis on vocational training in public schools. Our skilled tradesmen are in need of assistance to train for and continue their life’s work.
We partner with several local high schools in the area that offer auto repair curriculum to their students by providing workshops presented by current Master Techs and by offering scholarships for high school students to continue their trade.
Auto repair assistance
Several times a year, as funds are available, we identify families and individuals in need of assistance with auto repairs
Many of the families we help rely on their vehicles for everyday necessities—getting to work, transporting children, and accessing medical care. When unexpected repairs arise, it can create a financial burden that affects their stability. By stepping in with assistance, we not only keep cars on the road, but we help keep lives on track.

A love rekindled, a legacy continued
Our Story:
The Chris Gives Foundation emerged from a remarkable reunion. After meeting briefly in 1984 at Chris's Midas shop, Robin and Chris reconnected 34 years later, married in 2019, and built a partnership both in life and business. Just days before his unexpected passing, Chris told Robin, "We are not doing enough" to help others—words that would become the foundation's inspiration. Robin has since dedicated herself to continuing the generous legacy of her late husband, who believed that through his auto repair businesses he could make his greatest impact on the community.
Today, the Foundation honors Chris's memory by focusing on two areas of impact: providing scholarships for high school students pursuing automotive repair careers and offering critical auto repair assistance to families in need. Through these initiatives, Robin continues Chris's lifelong commitment to serving others while addressing both the future of the automotive industry and immediate transportation needs in the community. As Robin says, "Nothing is more important to me than carrying on his legacy.
